How long does a typical HRIS implementation take?

For mid-market companies (100–1,000 employees), a well-run implementation typically takes 3–6 months depending on complexity, data volume, and the number of modules. Rushed timelines are one of the top causes of implementation failures — we set realistic milestones and stick to them.

We already signed with a vendor. Can you still help?

Absolutely. Many of our clients come to us after they've selected a platform — sometimes mid-implementation when things have gone sideways. We can step in at any stage: pre-implementation planning, mid-project rescue, or post-go-live stabilization.

What's the difference between EJY and the vendor's own implementation team?

Vendor teams are incentivized to get you live on their platform quickly. EJY's only incentive is a successful outcome for your organization. We run parallel payroll testing, audit your data first, and configure the system around your actual workflows — not default templates.

Do you only work with companies in the Midwest?

No. While we're headquartered in Highland Park, IL and have deep roots serving the Midwest (Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Detroit, Minneapolis), we work with companies across the country. Most implementation work can be done remotely with strategic on-site visits when needed.

How is EJY priced — do you charge hourly or by project?
